Dates follow the schedule of Państwowa Komisja: the “Terminy sesji egzaminacyjnych” page and the Commission’s notice of 29 October 2026 updating the 2027 schedule. Checked against certyfikatpolski.pl on 31 October 2026. The Commission may change the schedule — check the dates before you register.

When is the next B1 exam?

The next session is 5–6 December 2026 (adult B1 only). But the centre must enter candidates in the Commission’s database at least one month before the exam, which means by about 5 November. Registration for December is most likely closed or closing now — ask your centre today.

If December is too soon, the next chance is 6–7 March 2027 (B1 and B2). After that, B1 is offered at every 2027 session: April, June, October and November.

When are the B2 and C1 exams?

  • Adult B2 in 2027 has only three sessions: 6–7 March, 24–25 April and 12–13 June. There is no adult B2 in the autumn 2027 schedule.
  • C1 has two sessions: 24–25 April and 27–28 November 2027.
  • The December 2026 B2 is for children and teenagers only; adults cannot register for it.

How to register: step by step

  1. Choose a session and a level from the table above.
  2. Find an exam centre. The Commission publishes the list of centres for each session on certyfikatpolski.pl, about two months before the exam. There are centres in many Polish cities and abroad.
  3. Register on the centre’s website, following its rules and deadlines. You usually need your passport details, the level and a contact.
  4. Pay the fee to the centre. Registration does not count until you pay. The centre sets the price, up to the legal cap.
  5. Wait for confirmation. The centre enters you in the Commission’s database — at least one month before the exam — and sends you the timetable of the written and oral parts.

A centre’s own deadline is usually earlier than “one month before the exam”, and places run out. Register as soon as the centre opens registration.

When should you register for each session?

A rough guide based on the rules “centre lists about two months before, database entry at least one month before”. Each centre sets its own exact dates.

From 2027 the registration procedure and deadlines will be set by a ministerial regulation (art. 11i), so this guide may shift — keep an eye on certyfikatpolski.pl.

What changes in registration from 1 January 2027?

  • The Commission’s candidate database runs on NAWA’s system (art. 11g ust. 2–2b), and your centre enters your data (ust. 3a). You still register through a centre.
  • The transitional rule (art. 3): anyone entered in the database before 1 January 2027 sits the exam under the old rules. The registration date matters, not the exam date.
  • Registration for March 2027 will most likely happen in 2027 — so the new rules apply: a new fee cap and a 100 zł certificate.
  • Age groups: one for those who are 16 or older on the exam day, one for those under 16 (art. 11a ust. 3).

All the changes with examples are in the 2027 exam: what changes.

No places left: what now?

  • Check other centres for the same session — the list on certyfikatpolski.pl covers many cities, and a nearby city may still have places.
  • Ask the centre about a waiting list: someone may cancel.
  • Register for the next session as soon as the centre opens registration — and use the extra weeks to prepare.

Sessions for children and teenagers

The Commission runs separate sessions for children and teenagers: in the schedule these are 5–6 December 2026 (B2), 12–13 June 2027 (B1, B2) and 27–28 November 2027 (B2). From 2027 the groups are split by age 16 on the exam day (art. 11a ust. 3). Ask the centre which session suits your child.

How to prepare for your date

The pass mark is 50 % at B1 and 60 % at B2 and C1 in each of the five parts, so plan around your weakest part. Take the free diagnostic test: about 10 minutes, a forecast for each part and a week-by-week plan to your session. If you have a month left, here is a one-month B1 plan. Two to three weeks before the exam, take a full B1 mock exam.
